More sustained support in familiar surroundings

24-Hour & Live-in Care in Enfield

When occasional visits are no longer enough, you may want to explore more sustained help at home. Angels Caring Care can discuss live-in care and planned support across the day and night in Enfield, subject to assessment and suitable arrangements.

Extended support

Support shaped around everyday life.

Live-in care means a care worker stays in your home as part of an agreed arrangement. It can bring assistance and companionship into familiar surroundings, while helping you maintain the routines and relationships that matter to you. The care plan sets out the help required and when it will be provided.

Live-in care and continuous awake support are different arrangements. A live-in worker needs agreed breaks and rest; one person cannot remain awake and working for 24 hours. If you need frequent night-time assistance or continuous supervision, we discuss the staffing and cover required before confirming whether your needs can be met.

Is this right for you?

Who may find this helpful?

Every person is different. Our team will confirm whether we can meet the identified needs and explain current availability.

Your support needs arise at different points throughout the day and you want to remain at home.

You or a relative would like to understand alternatives to several separate care visits.

A family carer needs to discuss a planned period of replacement support.

You need to explore care during the night as well as assistance with daytime routines.

  1. 01

    Discuss the whole day

Tell us about the support you need when waking, eating, getting around and settling at night. Include anything that happens overnight, so the proposed arrangement reflects your actual routine.

  2. 02

    Plan the home and staffing

For live-in arrangements, we discuss suitable private sleeping space for the worker, household expectations, breaks and cover. Where continuous support is needed, the staffing plan must account for working time and rest.

  3. 03

    Agree before care begins

We explain the proposed tasks, schedule, responsibilities and costs. Care begins only when a suitable plan and practical arrangements are agreed, with a way to discuss changes as your needs develop.

Does live-in care mean someone is awake all night?

No. A live-in worker has rest and break arrangements. Frequent overnight needs or continuous awake support require a different staffing plan, which must be assessed and confirmed.

What does the care worker need in my home?

Suitable private sleeping space and workable living arrangements need to be discussed. We also agree access, household routines and how the worker’s breaks and cover will be managed.

Can we discuss a short period of live-in support?

Yes, you can ask about a defined period as well as ongoing care. We assess the needs, dates and available arrangements before confirming what we can offer.

Is this a nursing service?

These arrangements focus on assessed social care and everyday support. They do not automatically include clinical nursing tasks. Tell us about any healthcare needs so responsibilities can be clarified with the relevant professionals.
